2. What data we collect and why
2a. Analytics (with your consent)
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site. These tools may collect:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- How you found our site (referrer / source)
- Actions such as clicking to call, opening WhatsApp, or viewing our services
- Your approximate geographic region (derived from IP address — IP addresses themselves are anonymised by Google)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
Lawful basis: Consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
2b. Contact enquiries
When you contact us via phone, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or email, we receive the personal data you share (name, phone number, message content). We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange services.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interest in responding to customer enquiries (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where a contract results, performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
2c. Google Business reviews
We display reviews fetched from the Google Places API. This is a server-side read — no personal data you provide to us is sent to Google as part of this process. Review authors' names and content are publicly available on Google Maps.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use the following:

|---|---|---|---|
| sidebar:state | Remembers whether the navigation sidebar is open or closed | Essential | 7 days |
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preference so we don't ask again | Essential | Persistent (localStorage) |
| _ga, _ga_*, _gid | Google Analytics — distinguish users and sessions | Analytics (consent required) | Up to 2 years |

Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you click "Accept all cookies". You can change your preference at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.
4. Who we share your data with
We share data with the following third parties where you have consented to analytics cookies:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (measurement IDs: G-V7YSJ55C9T, G-L1XB9GKZ7E) and Google Fonts (fonts are now served locally — no request is made to Google's font servers). Google may transfer data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Google Privacy Policy - Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel (ID: 24850345264644281) for measuring advertising effectiveness. Meta may transfer data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Meta Privacy Policy
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data retention

- Meta Pixel: Retained for up to 180 days by Meta.
- Contact enquiry data: Retained for as long as needed to fulfil the service, then deleted within 12 months of the last interaction.
